We have been very fortunate , in the last two years, with generous donations by sponsors.
A substantial grant from the Tanner Trust allowed us to commission a local boat builder, Carl Austin, to build us a new tender to replace our old clinker built dinghy. This dinghy is very stable and is a pleasure to row; she can also be rigged for sailing
A very generous donation from Terry O’Shaughnessy of Forest Youth has enabled us to buy a new cooker and echo sounder. He also supplied suits of wet weather gear for trainees and the funding to rig a fall-arrest system. The cooker is a terrific acquisition when catering for fourteen and the echo sounder is a definite advance on the lead line!
Our sincere thanks go to these benefactors.
